Ahmed Soultan One On One with Sanatu Zambang

While many see Ahmed Soultan as the founder of Afrobian music genre, considered as the master of the contemporary music scene in Morocco, Soultan music is known for being culturally rich in inhaling it's uniqueness from diversity of our African roots with a modern mode. A fan of Ahmed Soultan called Lamia explained to me, " That Soultan music is the kind of music that you can't come across it without being inspired, it's a journey of delight, knowledge and true feelings. Ahmed Soultan describes himself " a fool who believe we can do different, change the game, or ceate one "
when I Sanatu Zambang asked Ahmed Soultan who or what inspired him to move to the music world Ahmed replied " never wanted to be an artist, it was an accident! my siter Samira my friends from Gabon & Congo and my brother told me "man you should try". The Morocco super sensational star describes Afrobian music as " Afrobian Music is a sub genre for North Africa contemporary mucic using rythmes and intruments of our lands and mainstream music codes " ..
Music has various ways of communicating to people aside from entertaining, Sanatu Zambang questioned Ahmed Soultan what his music seek to achieve aside from entertaining music lovers. Ahmed Soultan said " Emancipation of our cultures and our continent by owning what we do and spreading the image WE WANNA Spread." Another confession from Houda, a fan of Ahmed Soultan music said " one thing is sure, you cannot not like him once you meet him, because he's really so kind, so humble and really really generous.. he literally offers to his fans and supporters all his attention, patience and time by just being himself, therefore what I like about Ahmed Soultan the most is his character. Musically, for me he is one of the rarest artists who are really still producing MUSIC. For example, If you take any song and just try to focus on the music, despite his heartwarming voice and meaningful lyrics, you will realise how great the instruments and the fusions are.."
When Sanatu Zambang asked Ahmed, about his private life, Ahmed Soultan with a smile and winked, then said " My private life remains private ". Speaking about the album MHNB (Music Has No Boundaries) Ahmed Soultan said " Femi Kuti, George Clinton, Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Tekitha, Akala, Wiyaala are in ! you should buy it and get an idea of Afrobian .....But a part of being my 3rd studio album, it is the first ever album distributed legaly in 17 cities, 65 stores and at less than 1$......Distributed In Morocco. There is a CD market in our continent.....don't believe the hype.
