The President of  GMSA UDS TLC , Mr. Issah Abdul- Aziz, on Friday, the 3rd of November, 2017 confirmed the receipt of 100 bags of cement as promised by the Northern Regional Minister, Mr Salifu Saeed .This is to be used to support the on going GMSA Mosque project. The minister made the pledge on  Sunday the 22nd of October, 2017, when he honored an invitation by the GMSA- UDS Tamale Campus. During the program, issues concerning the  on going Mosque project was brought to his attention. The project started a few months ago but has been stalling due to lack of funds. The Minister upon hearing this pledged  to support the project. He made arrangements to donate  hundred bags of cement as a personal act of benevolence. The Ghana youth guide, is set to host their maiden high school leadership conference in Tamasco. The conference shall take place on November 11, at the school’s assembly hall. The programme shall address socio-psychological problems among students, and create an interactive platform for students concerns.  The conference will increase the understanding of the growing importance of, and greater potential for, students/youth participation in development practices and to explore key issues and approaches when it comes to their personal development. The Ghana Youth Guide, (GYG) is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by young people, and shall be bringing over six hundred students from different schools for the maiden event.
