The 2016/17 maiden edition of the Savannah Lifestyle and Fashion Awards came off Friday January 27 at the colorful Hopin Academy space in the Tamale metropolis. Bakari Winifred, Majeed Machele, Dadzie Aikins, Fadila Alhassan, Abdul Hameed Photography, Abdul Kadir, Ahmed Mukadas Ibn Salis, Felica Mahama, Gombila The poet, and Mohammed May are among personalities who walked home winners on the night. The night was filled with glamour, the Tamale celebrities of Ghana’s sexiest female stars and personalities had so much to show on the red carpet. Music in the northern regions of Ghana has been in constant move since time, but in the last 12 months the regions in the north of Ghana has seen tremendous growth and attention worldwide. The trends has always been RNB, HIP POP AND HIGH LIFE, but Reggae music seem to be taking its stand in the Savannah regions and Ras Badingu comes to mind when reggae music is been discussed in these regions.
