Fashion may have gotten fast, but consumers have gotten faster. In the wake of fashion and modeling in the northern regions of Ghana, this creative arts sector has seen marvelous growth in recent months. Modeling agencies, clothing lines and brands have organized fashion events and all has been successful.  Between 2015/16 Sanatu Zambang has spotted some female models whom have so far shown interesting characters in the quest to shine on the spotlight of the world of modeling.  Irene Konlan,  former miss Afro tourism and culture 2015    is a student of the Tamale Polytechnic where she is studying Hotel Catering and Institutional management. Irene Konlan hails from Kanbagu in the Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District of the Northern Region. Health Worker's ''Attitude '' Keeps Pregnant Women away from Health Facilities

Research conducted by Send-Ghana, a civil society organisation, has established that the disrespectful attitude of some nurses and midwives is deterring pregnant women from accessing healthcare facilities.   It, therefore, recommended that the Ghana Health Service ( GHS) should take pragmatic measures to orient health workers on the importance of   being polite when providing   maternal health services, to help improve client health provider relationship. The study further recommended that sanctions should be instituted against nurses and midwives who disrespected patients and be implemented without compromise, in a bid to ensure improvement in maternal healthcare delivery. It indicated that improving client health provider relationship could help decrease maternal mortality resulting from the many deliberate deliveries outside of the health facilities. Wear Nation Foundation Feeds Over 200 kids on Christmas

Wear Nation Foundation , a non-profit making organisation in Ghana has fed and distributed goodies to over 200 children in the Gumo community in the Northern Region during the Christmas festivities. The gesture forms part of the Foundation’s annual programme with the aim of putting smiles on the faces of children especially the under privileged in society through the act of giving. This year’s event together about almost 30 volunteers who participated in the giving out and packaging of food, drinks, books, and gifts etc . The event was an occasion for the children to have an encounter with Wear Nation loyal customers through dancing, photo-shoot, and eating. Both volunteers and children of Gumo community sang songs of praises throughout the event.   The Chief and people of Gumo community could not hide their excitement and commended the Wear Nation foundation for remembering them on this special occasion.
