Golden Globes Nominations 2016 - Saoirse Ronan, Caitriona Balfe, and Lenny Abrahamson's Room in the running for awards. The nominations for the 2016 Golden Globes are being announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and among the nominees is Irish author Emma Donoghue how has been nominated for the screenplay for Room, based on her best-selling novel. Donoghue is counted in the category among names including Aaron Sorkin (for Steve Jobs) and Quentin Tarantino (for The Hateful Eight) as well as Charles Randolph and Adam McKay (The Big Short), and Tom McCarthy and Josh Singer (Spotlight).
