CHRAJ caution Tamale Mayor, “ Sex workers have rights “

Tamale Metropolitan Assembly are on the countdown to arrest and fined all sex workers if caught. The Tamale mayor believes that this is part of the steps to make the promising city clean and just. Brothels in the city has been demolished However some sex workers are on the move to leave the city, as they are aware of the strict and discipline nature of the mayor. In less than 10 months, the mayor has been able to clear the hawking on main streets of the metropolis, arrest wee and drugs users in the near by forests. Speaking to DW radio, the mayor said “ Sex trade is illegal, we don’t want prostitution in Tamale, on my watch, I will come down on those involved and engaged in sex trade ” Wunpini F Mohammed, a practising feminist has a different view, she believes that arresting sex workers and not arresting those flinging for the service seem to be unfair. One can boldly agree that musicians often throw money and drive fancy cars in music videos. There has been a never ending debate as to whether the money these musicians throw in their music videos are real or fake. Few weeks ago, social media users in Northern Ghana woke up to see a short video of Fancy Gadam and NazzOfficial singing and throwing money . With the money been thrown and scattered all over the ground, one would assume that since its a Ghanaian location, the money will be cedis. Gaffachi sets to launch ‘Stardom’ music album

After going solo for a while, Gaffachi is finally launching his first music album. The Tamale based Hip Hop rapper; Gaffachi, over the past years with his former Zola counter; Arisky, have had two albums to their credit. They used to be a duo (Arisky-Gaffachi), before each went solo. He’s set to release his first album on November 3, at Radach Lodge and Conference Center, since he went solo. The album is titled; ‘Stardom’, and it is made up of twelve music tracks in it. The title of the album denotes his tireless efforts in his music since early ages. Some of the songs which can be found in this great album are; Letter to Zolahood, Bangbaara, Tika shihibu, Tipagya, hit them up…etc. and many others. Gaffachi and his entire crew has well preorganized the event to suit and quench the thirst of music lovers and fans.
