Lamia and Houda Talk Ahmed Soultan MHNB Album

Ahmed Soultan reveals himself as the precursor of a new style he likes to name, the Afrobian Soul, for Afro-Arabian. The stage name "Soultan" is inspired from "soul" With the success of his first single "Ya Salam", I haven't had the honour of meeting him but I do chat with him on social media, and I can boldly say he is filled with HUMILITY and I know this because I feel it when listening to his music.
This Is Who I Am” is the first single from Ahmed’s album MHNB (Music Has No Boundaries), “This Is Who I Am”, described by the Moroccan star as “AfroBian” in style, is a fusion of both Afro and Arabian rhythms and features four languages, English, French, Arabic and Wiyaala’s own Sissala dialect. “This Is Who I Am” was recorded at the Studio Hiba in Casablanca. Which and features collaborations with world famous musicians Femi Kuti, George Clinton, Pee Weee Ellis, former members of James brown band, the JBs, British rapper, poet and activists Akala, Fred Wesley, and Tekitha. I have also mad friends with his music lovers in Morocco and other parts of the world. I do sometimes spend time chatting with Houda, the smart princess, Aicha the modest queen and Lamia the royal highness they are proudly from Morocco and huge fans of Ahmed Soultan. They are part of a group called " The Ladies Army " the ladies army also includes two energetic Dutch women, Aich says Ahmed Soultan is on his way to greatness. in short they are feminist.
Houda told me " one thing is sure, you cannot not like him once you meet him, because he's really so kind, so humble and really really generous.. he literally offers to his fans and supporters all his attention, patience and time by just being himself, therefore what I like about Ahmed Soultan the most is his character. Musically, for me he is one of the rarest artists who are really still producing MUSIC. Far from being commercial, each song in his new album ( and the previous albums too ) I can really feel all his efforts, his creativity mixed with authenticity. for example, If you take any song and just try to focus on the music, despite his heartwarming voice and meaningful lyrics, you will realise how great the instruments and the fusions are.. and indeed I hope that MHNB will reach as much people as possible because that's the kind of music and art we need in our daily lives."
Ahmed Soultan album Tolerance was a huge success, Ahmed Soultan soon became one of the figureheads of the "Nayda", the new Moroccan scene. Singing in four languages ( Amazigh, Arabic, English and French), In 2011, for the "Radiowaves Project" Ahmed Soultan was featured on "People Power" a song produced by Anthony Tidd (The Roots, Talib Kweli) alongside Talib Kweli, Angélique Kidjo, Zap Mama, and Freshlyground to fight climate change in Africa and the world in general. Ahmed Soultan took part in many international musical events, including the Kora Awards in South Africa, the opening of a Tiken Jah Fakoli concert in Dakar, his contribution to the People Power song (beside Talib Kweli, Angelique Kidjo or Zap Mama ), Fez's Sacred Musics Festival, Marrakech's Moonfest, Casablanca Music Festival and many other European scenes (Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris) Ahmed Soultan has been involved in various projects : he wrote the original soundtrack of Rhimou, a successful sitcom broadcast in Morocco and more ; he has also collaborated with American singer Ne-Yo, on a song called "Amazing You" .
