Make A Change Foundation Donates to Deprived School & Community in Salaga

Michael Jackson lyrics  "I'm starting with the man in the mirror/I'm asking him to change his ways/And no message could have been any clearer/If you wanna make the world a better place/Take a look at yourself and then make a change." Is been put into action by Make A ChangeFoundation.




These words of the late king of pop, came to life on January 16th 1988, when worldwide pop star Michael Jackson released this iconic hit single Man in the Mirror. "Man in the Mirror was written by Glen Ballard and Siedah Garrett.





Make A Change Foundation has organized 4 successfully donations and the 5th donation happened to be yesterday 16 January 2017, same day and date when ‘’ Man in the Mirror’’ was released. Make A Change Foundation donated reading materials and uniforms to a deprived and needy community school in Matilapo community in Salaga district in the Northern region of Ghana.






Speaking to Inusah Latifa, one of the leading members and founders of the organization she said ‘’ We are happy to see school children and the community people, we want the children to study well because there are others who have been in their shoes before and have raise above and made it to the top, and we ‘’ Make A Change Foundation founders and members ‘’ are no exception. And with determination and self-motivation the children of Matilapo community can also make it.''






Make A Change Foundation is an organization founded and managed by a group of young enthusiastic students/friends. The foundation was founded in 20th March 2016. The foundation aims at ‘’ To effect positive change in the lives of deprived children in Northern region of Ghana through education ‘





Make A Change Foundation also paid a courtesy on the chief and elders of Matilapo. They donated cloths to the women, children and elders of the community. Inusah Mariam Pagnaa told Sanatu Zambang 


‘’ To the deprived people in Matilapo community, getting new clothes is a luxury they can't really afford and we thought it wise to help them with these clothes we could spare’’ Seeing them smile is one of our greatest goals and achieving this was enough for us Miss Mariam Pagnaa added.











Make A Change Foundation is been managed by Inusah Mariam Pagnaa, Inusah Latifatu, Musah Neehad, Comfort Kuulabio, Adam Baninie Kawsar, Abdullai Abidatu,Seidu Angela Azimah, Hamidu Adnan and Iddrisu Ayisha. The journey to Matilapo in the East Gonja district, of the Northern Region of Ghana was made possible by  Inusah Mariam Pagnaa, Inusah Latifatu, Comfort Kuulabio, Adam Baninie Kawsar, Abdullai Abidatu,Seidu Angela Azimah, Harmony Stephen Asampana, Yunus Mariwah and Abdul Raafi Mohammed fishbone.






Make A Change Foundation also organize extra class for children in some communities in the Tamale Metropolis. Comfort Kuulabio, a runway and photo model and nominee for the 2017 Savannah Lifestyle Art and Fashion Awards also encouraged the young girls in the community to be bold and confident, and encouraged the teachers of the school to continue dedicating their tireless efforts in helping the children become future leaders.








Adam Baninie Kawsar, Abdullai Abidatu and Yunus Mariwah oversaw the distribution of the cloths to the residence of the community, while Seidu Angela Azimah and Harmony Stephen Asampana engaged the children in the school in musical learning activity.
