My people ooo... the chief of our village has asked me to inform you all about the hidden developmental project which are currently in progress in this village. The chief has asked me to call on the people of this village that they should drop all the political talks and other issues that has no benefit to us and rather talk about the developmental project that are changing the lives of few people and if all hands is on deck, everyone will see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Some of these developmental projects are;
The Northern Sector Action on Awareness Centre (NORSAAC) was founded in 2002 as a gender focused community-based advocacy organization mobilizing youth to discuss and find ways of addressing sexual and reproductive health issues in schools. Since then, NORSAAC has taken a greater interest in sustainable livelihoods for youth and women, while integrating reproductive health issues and women’s rights and participation. League of Young Female Leaders "the League". "the League". of "the League". is a registered non-profit organization as “LEAGUE OF YOUNG FEMALE LEADERS” and led by young women for the main purpose of advancing the status of girls and women in Ghana through mentoring and advocacy. The journey towards the empowerment of the feminine side cannot be achieved through a one way approach. Empowerment of the feminine side should be all perspective inclusive in the fields of education, health, entrepreneurship, ICT, culture amongst others. This has informed the selection of our three (3) main core modules (refer to core modules). This will aid us explore and utilize different fields to empower the girl/woman to take her rightful place on the table of leadership and decision making. find out more from Hikmat Baba Dua
BarCamp Ghana is a free networking forum where participants learn, share and network. This first BarCamp Wa would be the 45th Barcamp in Ghana. BarCamp Wa 2015 is on the theme, ‘Entrepreneurship for economic security’ and takes place on June 13, 2015 at the Spanish Lab, Wa Campus – University for Development Studies. There will be a speed mentoring session where mentors will give insights and answers to questions from attendees.
