The 2016 4stye Music Video awards; an award scheme dedicated to awarding musicians and video directors.  The launch saw acts such as Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese, Feli Nuna, Ebony Reigns, Sister Derbie, Medikal, Petra O and more repping in their numbers. The nominees for this year’s event was made known to the public.











Wiyaala has been nominated in category of the Most Influential Artist; she faces stiff competition as the likes of Shatta Wale, Dblack, Sarkodie, Manifest, Stonebwoy, VVIP and EL are all in the same category competing for the Most Influential Artist . Multiple award winning songstresses, Wiyaala has not only invested in her videos but also her brand as well. The jigwe female artiste of the year has also spent lots of her time advocating for child rights, and ending child marriage.  



The songstress and ‘’ lioness of Africa ‘’ has in the past months toured Europe and gave a stunning peformance at the Vodafone Legends Nights with The “Umqombothi” Princess Of Africa Yvonne Chaka Chaka.





Through her music, Wiyaala seeks to promote choice for young women and fight back against practices like child marriage and FGM, using her lyrics to raise awareness of such issues. 



Because of this commitment, she was recently invited to perform in the UK as part of the “Voices of the Revolution” collective, which saw an organization called In Place of War gather together an inspirational lineup of female musicians from around the world to share ideas and perform throughout the summer.
