Prince Siita Sofo Writes, A JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE
'' I might not be the worst, oldest, the first, the best but I would want to dedicate this my post to the Future African leaders.
I stated in
my 1st post from Paris, France that I will be hard on myself and those who are
hungry for a better future. On my
journey to the future I have these revelations;
- 1. God does not give money. Money comes to those who can attract it.
- 2. Man looks at the outside, God looks at the inside. Religion is for the heart and God. Business is a different ball game.
- 3. So we Africans are more religious than those who brought us the religion yet we are so poor in our economy and standard of living. We are responsible for that and none can change it except us.
- 4. If you want to know how paradise looks like, go to the white man's house (Country). Someone said heaven waited for us to come and we are delaying so it has met us on earth. Unfortunately it did not get to Africa. The little drops here, are only with a few greedy persons who doesn't help others.
- 5. We were told that if we are going to church and we meet the white man, we should go home because we have seen our God. How true is that and why did they say that?
- 6. We are taught not to say all we hear. So I'm tempted to say some because our leaders never told us the truth-The true state of the economy. We don't even know the true state of own lives. They know very well what is good for the economy yet they don't do it. We equally know what is good for us yet we wont do.
- 7. Since the good lord gave us two (2) ears. We are to hear everything but one mouth shows we don't have to say all. He gave us two(2) eyes so we see twice and everything and yet one mouth so we say little. To see with our mind is called foresight. To see with our eyes is sight. Most of us don't have vision and foresight.
- 8. Africa, Ghana cannot succeed without a viable private sector. We cannot succeed if our future leaders talk and walk aimlessly.
- 9. I made a personal promise to take some people to Europe not to go and stay but to go and learn and come back to implement for the benefit of our people. I have started negotiating with the biggest satellite providers in the Europe and for that matter one of the biggest in the world on this.
- It is a disgrace to see that we Africans will do anything to go abroad and will do everything to stay there instead of coming home to create change.
- 10. As for we Africans, we are leaving in the past, in comparison we are like 50 years behind. Technology is the way forward. Time is money. Electricity and water are basic needs for every economy. Education is a necessity like air. Students are paid to be in school. Women are paid to give birth and every child has an allowance to take every month.
Honesty, professionalism, mutual respect, discipline is needed for our success.
We need
viable systems as former US President Barrack Obama admonished, we need
structures that works without government interference.
We need to be less corrupt, less selfish and think about our future leaders.
I shall
elucidate and dilate into these to help you and I succeed in our risky
business and Political African settings''.
