True and Practical meaning of love - Counselor Sandra Akua Akude

So far we’ve been able to establish the fact that what most people define as love are actually misconceptions. Nevertheless, in the near future, we will dedicate a whole Series to address as many misconceptions of love as possible.

In manufacturing, specifications, suitability and durability are highly considered. In automobiles for instance, we have vehicles specifically manufactured and suitable for very hot climatic conditions. While some are made for very cold climatic conditions
Whenever a vehicle designed for a cold climate is taken to and driven in a hot climate, over heating is the aftermath and vice versa.

In the same vain, tyres of vehicles are designed and manufactured for a particular climate condition.
When a tyre designed for a cold climate is used in a hot climate, the tyre heats up and bust. The aftermath is accident. Lives and properties are lost.

While some (people) are blaming it on the devil, others take the pain to investigate what the cause of a new tyre burst could be. However, the good news is that, though quite expensive, some vehicles and tyres are designed and built for all weather and climatic conditions. THIS IS A PERFECT REFLECTION OF MY TRUE AND PRACTICAL DEFINITION OF LOVE.

The definition I considered to be the most practical and suitable for love is; LOVE IS PAIN.
This definition may sound absurd but as we dig deep, you will agree with me because it is applicable in all situations and in all kinds of relationships.
Love is pain shouldn’t be mistaken for painful heartbreaks, hurts or disappointments experienced in/or from any forms of relationship.

My true and practical definition of love which is LOVE IS PAIN, rather prepares you to deal with and overcome painful heartbreaks, hurts or disappointments.
As the saying goes; those who failed to plan have already planned to fail.
Bare in mind that love does not only exist between couples and mates. Love towards your children, parents, friends and more are all love.

100% Blissful love life is the expectation of most people in love.
But the truth is that Love is more or less a Cross. Cross here represents Pain.
My lovely Readers/Viewers, love does not cause pain. What actually causes pains is either, the unpreparedness for pain, the misunderstanding of what love is not which are misconceptions (of love) or the over expectations of the attributes of love.

When you know that love is pain, you will be well fortified for it. I guess you are still confused about this but don’t worry. In this Series, I will take you through love like never before.
This Series is dedicated to giving the true and practical meaning of love, and separating misconceptions from attributes of love.

This brings us to the end of this week’s episode. Thanks for your feedbacks, questions and comments. In the next Episode, we’ll continue our journey of love.
