Born to Muslim Dagomba parents, on March 5, 1992, Abdallah Inusah Babamu was raised in Zogbeli which he holds dear to his heart. He is known by his stage name as Gaffachi. Many of his peers consider him as a ‘born rapper’ due to his musical dexterity.

Gaffachi is from a family of 5, which he’s the second born. Unlike other youngsters, Gaffachi despite growing up in a difficult community, had his primary Education and junior high school in Al-Markazia primary school and Nyohini Presby Junior High School, respectively.





He also proceeded to Damango secondary school, where he had his senior high education.
To him, such achievement is credited to his parents who always want to see him get educated.

It is not surprising to see how influential and wave-breaking his songs are making due to his foundation. Gaffachi comes from a den of music. He was always a fun of music since his childhood. Gaffachi used to follow Tuba Boster and Tap tax (Tuba Clan ) to every show they where billed to perform during their time in the music industry.
Gaffachi was lucky to be in the same household with the then music gurus as they were his cousins.

For him, he believes he inherited his music life from them as it runs in his genes.

Gaffachi during his junior high school level,used to perform songs of his music godfathers; the Tuba clan, to entertain his friends. For him, taking up music fully as a passion and work mean lot. And it’s the way he can pay his mentors.

Over the past years, Gaffachi with his former Zola counter; Arisky, have had two albums to their credit… They used to be a duo (Arisky-Gaffachi), before each went solo.
He’s set to release his first album since he went solo on November 3, 2017 at the Radach Lodge and Conference Center. The album is titled; ‘Stardom’, and it is made up of twelve music tracks in it. The title of the album denotes his tireless efforts in his music since early ages to date.

Through Hip Hop rap music, he’s been able to inspire young talented aspiring musicians such as Rab B, among others. Gaffachi is a well-spoken of rapper, who has mastery over his lines even in the English language.
