Alliance for Northern Entertainers (ANE), not fans of Fancy Gadam

The interim chairman of Alliance for Northern Entertainers (ANE) has debunked the notion held by many that the association is made up of only Fancy Gadam fans and it is there to fight for only the ‘Concrete’ hit maker.


Speaking to Sanatu Zambang Magazine, the ICT entrepreneur lamented on the prejudice mind that people in our society have about entertainers and that is why the association was formed, to fight for the right of all art players in the town, be it a musician, actor, actress, producers, music engineers, media personnel or anybody whose work is related to the entertainment industry in the region.



‘’ People see everyone in the entertainment industry to be some bunch of useless people, school dropout simply because they see them to be working on their own and we don’t seem to have a united front, so alliance for northern entertainers, is providing that particular platform where it will address all that has to do with entertainment issues.” He said

Though the association was formed aftermath of the derogatory remarks by the Mayor of Tamale, Musah Superior accusing Fancy Gadam of using his fans blood to succeed in the industry. Mr. Arnold called the statement very unfortunate.






‘’ for someone in authority to come out and make such statement of that magnitude, we think it is rather unfortunate and questions the hard work of industry players.’’

 ‘’ I was there when Starfm called him, apparently the way they are taking the story, no northerner can have a nationwide appeal without sacrificing somebody for rituals that is their perception because, the rhetorical questions pose by our mayor, seem to have simulated some kind of negative thought about northerners.’’  Continue Reading
