When marriage couples decent on heated arguments and decide ignore each other, what will be the consequences. A film written and directed by femi. Cinematography by Lucas, production manager dalvin. My directing teacher suggested a few topics for film and i choose to write on tragedy on happy marriage. A mix of my imagination and other stories i have seen. I expect the audience to end the stories in their minds...
About the cast, Mr Alfred Femi said " simbi and kunle are matured. I used my physic in casting and i know my choice of cast are the best. Simbi is married and faces the same problem with her husband, so when i met her and learn about her marital problem and her passion in acting, i told my self is a done deal".
Femi added "I have seen the works of kunle, i tested his ability, coincidentally i stay with him for two months so i realise he was good for the job.. Lesson from the film: malicious is something that destroys friendship and marriage. Why have a beef with someone when you can spend every minute being happy with the person. Who knows you could save a life if we avoid malicious".
Femi have worked with big actors and production houses in Nigeria as a assistant director. Malicious is the first film Femi is shooting out of Nigeria and directing it by himself. When I asked Femi about his future plans, he said "The future: if am to work in Hollywood. I would forces more as a casting director because i believe in my physic. If am to work on a big budget movie, i would mix new actor with the old actors. I like to give new actors the chance to show their talents.
Ghana and Nigerian, Femi said " Ghana and Nigeria collaboration is a good idea, but i would like to even do a bigger collaboration, like include other African countries. Femi is currently on the set of a comedy series titled The Johnsons, the series features some popular comic faces in the nollywood industry. Femi is the assistant director of the series. The Johnsons is a comedy TV drama it's a family drama very comic and educative. It deals with moral issues in the day to day family life.
