''Dagbon Warrior'' Saani Shines at Don Sigli and Basat Wedding

The Northern Entertainment showbiz witness its biggest celebrity wedding last Sunday 25th September, 2016. when Singer Don Sigli married his longtime girlfriend, Basat. 


Don Sigli and Basat have been engaged for years now and will finally tie the nod. With only days to go, sources close to the two families say all is set for the Islamic wedding was organised simple and strictly done in accordance with Islamic teachings.








The wedding witness many prominent figures in the northern showbiz industry, MoneyO hit maker NazzOfficial, sound engineer and musician Mista Kace, Fancy Gadam, Maccasio and many others. But the artiste who stole the show was Saani, The Dagbon Warrior, speaking to NazzOfficial and Mista Kace,  they said ‘’ Saani performance was wonderful and the people really cheered him up. ''




Speaking to Sanatu Zambang, the Panda refix hitmaker said ‘’ I’ve always wanted to do music. In the beginning I faced some resistance from a few people close to me; family and friends but my ambition has aligned them with my thought process and career choice ‘’  Saani who is one of the musician’s in the northern region with great potential is hopeful that the future of Northern Music is brighter than what others imagine.



Don Sigli who is a popular artist in the Northern part of Ghana with several hits including “Abi u wan go”, “Big Time Jag’milo”, “Nasara”, “ Di che ka Obang” and his all-time hit track, “Wunpini” which is still a major hit song enjoying massive airplay on both television and radio stations across the country.

The “Wunpini” hitmaker recently performed to the delight of President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama at the opening of the Tamale International Airport. Basat on the other hand has become a household name since signing on to HyperLinks Entertainment, a record label which has helped her shoot to fame.
