Maccasio Top's Northern Countdown Chat Show

Tamale based Rapper, Maccasio song Koo nin neey features sensational singer, Don Sigli has been ranked number one song for the month of August by Tamale based Radio Justice’s Northern Countdown Chat Show.


The song beat Don Sigli’s ‘Wumpini’ and Lil K ‘’ Mumuna ‘’
Koo nin neey was consistent in the weekly chat show (which precedes the monthly chat)
The following songs were competing to be among the Top Ten, the songs which will make it to the Top3 will take Award (Citation).

Don Sigli ‘Wumpini’ and Lil K ‘’ Mumuna ‘’   came second and third respectively to complete the top three songs for the month of August in Northern Ghana. Maccasio  Koo nin neey which features sensational singer, Don Sigli of ‘Wumpini’ fame has become one of the favourites of the fans. The song which is receiving massive airplay will throw fans on their feet to dance to the song. 

The Best Rapper NMA 2016, HIPLIFE/HIPHOP ARTIST OF THE YEAR NMA 2016 Sherif Abdul-Majeed, known in showbiz as Maccasio will be headlining todays Zola Street Carnival on Sallah day.  According to sources, it's an Annual Street Carnival organized by Zolahood. Two areas in the Northern Region Capital, thus Tamale metropolis namely Zogbeli and Lamakara which has been jointly named as Zolahood by the youth in these two areas.

In a Facebook post the most stylish and well fashioned star boy Maccasio, king of the Zolahood said
 ‘’ What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it - would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have. The Northern Countdown Chat Show, hosted by Hassan Ibrahim Abubakar (KingHassan) is Radio Justice’s flagship weekend entertainment show that tracks the popularity of songs from Northern Ghana. Producers of the programme, Sanatu-Zambang and Radio Justice say they have teams that track the popularity of songs on radio, television, social media and online platforms like Youtube.

 According to them, the teams select the eight most popular songs for the weekly show, with the top five of each week contesting for the monthly edition.
