''Off The Street Project '' to kick start in Northern Ghana

Speaking to Ritchmond Nana Ankobia, a leading member of this initiative, he said '' Off the street project, will engage the kayayo and the vulnerable children on the street of Tamale through the educating them and placing them in apprenticeship vocations of their choice.''
Mr Nana Ankobia explained that the purpose of the organisation is '' To help eradicate poverty by engaging Ghanaian youth through formal education, apprenticeship placement and talent advocacy by the year 2027, and also to help needy and vulnerable (street children) youth below 20 years with formal education, apprenticeship enrollment and talent advisory platform, so as to empower them to develop their skills and knowledge for a successful livelihood.
There are estimated to be around 120 million children living on the streets in the world (30 million in Africa, 30 million in Asia, and 60 million in South America). Often victims of all kinds of abuse, these children still have rights…
Off The Street Project will Improve the lives of vulnerable and needy persons below the age of twenty (20) through ,educational programs (provision of formal education). The program will also offer apprenticeship placement to develop and improve their talents and provide of career advice's and setting platform for the discussion of career improvement.
