Maiden High School Leadership Conference to Take Place at Tamasco

The Ghana youth guide, is set to host their maiden high school leadership conference in Tamasco. The conference shall take place on November 11, at the school’s assembly hall.

The programme shall address socio-psychological problems among students, and create an interactive platform for students concerns.





 The conference will increase the understanding of the growing importance of, and greater potential for, students/youth participation in development practices and to explore key issues and approaches when it comes to their personal development.



The Ghana Youth Guide, (GYG) is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by young people, and shall be bringing over six hundred students from different schools for the maiden event. The theme for this year’s conference is dubbed; Inspiring Students to Develop the Attitude of Creativity and Innovation.

In the event shall be the presence of several speakers and stakeholders. The Northern Regional Director of NCCE in the person of Alhaji Abdul Razak Saani, Madame Nadia Ali; Programmes Director of YESAC GHANA and Mr Yussif Yakubu of Right to Play International, who is also an Author and a Motivational Speaker, shall be gracing this august occasion with great speeches.

The Tamale based Hip life singer;  Is Rahim, shall be passing through to grace the event with his melodious tunes of hit songs.

There shall also be poets around to present marvelously educative, yet entertaining spoken words at the event. Some of these poets include; Ibrahim Muhammad Saani, Ibn Do Gud and Fatima.



The conference is supported by the Ghana Education Service (GES), National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), PPAG, Samakose, Civil Society and Institutional Foundation (CSIF), ActionAid Global Platform, NIIT, HOPin Academy, National Youth Authority-Accra, Run and reque rural community, Clean to live, as well as some media houses such as; NTV,123 fm, Zaa Radio, Sanatu Zambang media, among others.
The ‘Ghana youth guide’ is therefore calling on the public to come and witness this life-changing event.
