STOP THE HATE REPORTING on Sarkodie,Rocky Dawuni,Wiyaala & Others

what do you mean by Sarkodie's "Mary Album" launch flops in Tamale ? Why do some Ghanaian media houses have to be so negative about certain issues. There was a miscommunication between the people and the organisers, people really didn’t get the message clearly.
Many thought GHc20 was only an entry fee before paying for the actual Mary album as well. Meanwhile That was not the case. The event organizers required everyone to pay GHc20 before getting to the place and even though that meant a free copy of the album and autograph signing. So why put a headline saying Sarkodie's "Mary Album" launch flops in Tamale. Is this the first time Sarkodie has been in Tamale, Sarkodie has been in Tamale on several occasions and the reception he gets is similar to that of Accra and other places. Even R2Bees who are half Northerners don't have much fans in Tamale compared to Sarkodie. So please when reporting on issues let's be cautious of the kind of headline we use, let's promote our own not tarnish the image of people and places.
Not only Sarkodie, Wiyaala has so far impressed thousands across the world, the media houses in Ghana pretend not to see her efforts and success, the media houses down play her success. This year Afrima Awards has the like of Sarkodie, Edem, Dark Suburb, VVIP, Efya, and others. Wiyaala is the only Ghanaian leading the nominations. No media house has made noise about it, or are they not aware of Afrima Awards. Ghana has a international reggae musician, who is in the person of Rocky Dawuni, he has been on several stages with international artists, yet less talk about his success, the media house choose to concentrate on either politics or negative issues for no reason.
Just recently Wanluv kubulor and his Twitter followers were making positive and mind questioning tweets on the recent judicial scandal following the Anas Video, Even award winning host Ama K, joined the Twitter conversation with Wanluv and they all shared positive and heart warming ideas. No media house made a report on those positive tweets but when he made a tweet about becoming a Judge then it made headlines. Which absolutely does not make sense to me. As media houses, inform us on the positive, negative and ugly side of the story, but don't only focus on the negative side only. And the headline should always be positive and not heart hurting. Well be it Rocky Dawuni, Sarkodie or Wiyaala or any other celebrity who is trying and working hard to raise the flag of Ghana high and you or anyone look down upon their efforts then I guess you are nothing but a selfish and ungrateful person. Remember the words of Malcolm X " If you are not careful the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing "
