DOES THE LAW FAVOURS THE RICH & POWERFUL ?

Correct me if I am wrong but I still don't understand the Law, Some Judges take bribes and the Law enforcers do absolutely nothing, civilians go on a demonstration and Law enforcement officials beat them up.
The rich takes money from the poor and they call it tax or business, the poor take money from the rich and it's called robbery. A ordinary citizens takes loan without paying on time, and he or she is been sent to prison with immediate effect, a political or public figure does same and he or she is asked to appear before a commission on enquiry. This is not fair. If the police develop the habit of beating demonstrators, then where is our democracy, if care is not taken the people will one day want to object to certain policies of a sitting government and the will beat and rip them of their rights, and thus when we will be gradually moving back to slavery, this time in the hands of our own black men. From what I saw in the news, the people demonstrating where not holding anything that can hurt or kill. The police have to be extra patient when dealing with demonstrators. Abraham Lincoln "Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal " Malcolm X "If you are not careful the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing " Mahatma Gandhi " Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit. " Barack Obama " An independent press. A vibrant private sector. A civil society. Those are the things that give life to democracy. We see that spirit in courageous journalists like Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who risked his life to report the truth." Jerry John Rawlings " The Democracy we practice in Africa is different from the Democracy the Western World Practice " John A. Kufour " The rule of law will be meaningless, unless there is access to justice by the people. A.P.J Abdul Kalam " A leader can only be free to lead his team if he keeps abreast of all that is happening around him—in real time.”
