The Gentlemen of Broadcasting in Northern Region ( Yunus & Lolly )

When you look at broadcasting in Tamale, many have their favourites, but for the last 4 years, young and determined men and women have made the broadcasting industry in Tamale exceptionally good than before, they have made tremendous efforts and added value to broadcasting in tamale, be it Radio or Television. Yunus and Lolly two different young men from different backgrounds, share their story. How they began, where they are now and their future plans
Mumuni Y. Yunus, 27. Born in Tamale and a Dagomba by tribe. Is a broadcast Journalist with Radio Justice since 2010, rising from being a junior staff reporter to become a Senior Broadcast Journalist, a Deputy News Editor and online manager. Yunus Attended Kalpohin SDA school complex, Bisco and the African University College of Communication. When I asked Mr Yunus his main vision for the North, Yunus answered " loves to bring change to the north and change the negative perception people have about the north "

Hamza Adam Lansah Lolly, completed Kalipohini Senior High in 1999. He was the entertainment prefect. Did a journalism course, human rights journalist, work with so many media houses in the country including Fiila fm, the statesman newspaper, Ghanaian observer, daily searchlight, joy fm, today newspaper.Hamza went further to established his own newspaper " The Northern Watch "
The Northern Watch newspaper was later launch by His Excellency the late Veep Alhaji Aliu Mahama. Hamza started his TV career with Discovery TV and later join ATV and BTA as the Northern Sector correspondent. Hamza host two programmes on ATV, Yalayala on Mondays and Adiini Saha on Fridays. hamza also anchor two shows on BTA, investing north and northern watch. founder and CEO of Meida Alliance for Development (MAD), an event and media organization. Hamza ended by saying " I have good aspirations in life....build a media empire and estates development entrepreneur.... "
