The Northern Countdown Chat Show on Tamale’s biggest radio network, Radio Justice 98.5 with King Hassan. With several thousands of fans expected to monitor the weekly show, Fancy and Stonebwoy would be offered an opportunity to reach out to their teaming fans before the night of the show.

Northern Countdown Chat
The Northern Countdown Chat Show, hosted by Hassan Ibrahim Abubakar (KingHassan) is Radio Justice’s flagship weekend entertainment show that tracks the popularity of songs from Northern Ghana.

Producers of the programme, Sanatu Zambang and Radio Justice say they have teams that track the popularity of songs on radio, television, social media and online platforms like Youtube.
According to them, the teams select the eight most popular songs for the weekly show, with the top five of each week contesting for the monthly edition.

BHIM Nation x Gadam Nation concert
Remarkable to note is the upcoming BHIM Nation x Gadam Nation concert in Tamale on Saturday which most people describe as a battle between Stonebwoy and Fancy Gadam at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
This will certainly bring an end to the era when music heavyweights from Tamale including Fancy Gadam, Don Sigli, Maccasio, Lil K and others would perform usually even before the so called southern artists arrive at the stadium to perform, anytime a southern artist is headlining an event in Tamale.
This phenomenon has over the years angered musicians and their fans who have consistently complained that such arrangements do not afford them the opportunity to showcase their talent to the guest artists.
But after single handedly pulling over 12,000 crowd to the Tamale Sports Stadium during his “Nawun-Yiko” album launch in May, Fancy Gadam may just have changed the trend.
It would not be surprising if Fancy Gadam performs after Stonebwoy because anything apart from that is likely to bring the show to a close as he (Fancy Gadam) is regarded as the “Show finisher”.
