Don't Blame Maccasio Nor Fancy Gadam - Operation Suhudoo Concert

Operation Suhudoo Concert came to a standstill on Saturday night. The smoking tension between the two biggest acts in Tamale, thus Gadam Nation led by Fancy Gadam and 69 fans led by Maccasio seem to be cutting deeper and deeper. 









According to KingHassan, Host of the Northern Countdown Chart show and MetroMix drive time host of Justice FM, managers of both artistes engaged in a serious verbal battle as to who should perform first and who is to perform last.

Fans of the two sides have blamed each other for Saturday’s happenings, while others have tagged both Fancy and Maccasio as arrogant and ignorant. 


Maccasio told Sanatu Zambang on Monday afternoon that ‘’ I feel very sad about this unfortunate event, I was paid to perform to an audience, my fans took time out of their busy schedule to attend the corcert,  i spent days rehearsing to perform to the fans, i shared the Operation Suhudoo poster on my facebook wall calling on fans to come in their numbers, so why would I refuse to perform? Maccasio questioned ‘’



According to Justice FM E-News Fancy Gadam also apologized adding that ‘’  “myself and my team are taking up measures to address this issue. I entreat the fans too to continue to be patient as we all try to entertain ourselves. Fancy Gadam preaches peace and apologizes for the unfortunate incident last night @ the Sports stadium” he posted on his official Facebook page.

So Sanatu Zambang team has been analyzing the Saturday’s unfortunate event organized by Bamba Records and here are the What’s, How’s, and the Why’s


 What; under well-organized events, performance by artiste have been planned, timed and schedule. Each act knows who is performing before him/her, and who is performing afterwards. 


 These lineups are communicated to artiste, their management, the Mc and the crew members of the event and even sometimes the special guest and VIP’s before the D Day. So Sanatu is asking the organizers did they communicate these to the artiste. If yes, why didn’t they stick to the plan? So this is the ‘’ WHAT ‘’ that was supposed to be done by the organizers of operation suhudoo.


How; the PR of the event was supposed to communicate this with the artiste before any payment is made to the said artiste. Signed documents should be available for reference and evidence. The PR again should communicate this to the Dj, and Mc before the day of the program. This again is the HOW the WHAT was supposed to be done by the of operation suhudoo.

Why; this gives the artiste on the bail, the opportunity to plan his/her performance and will also determine which songs he will perform and the energy he/she will give out on stage. Example if Shatta Wale will be performing before Samini, Shatta will do something that even if Samini performers out shine his, he ‘’ Shatta Wale ‘’ will still make it to the headlines. 

Let’s trace back to Tigo Gh meets Naija, even though Jupitar and Sarkodie gave an exceptional performance, Shatta Wale removing his trousers and leaving his inner pants gave him the headline he soo wanted but Wiser went to far at the December to Remember concert organized by citifm.

Sanatu Zambang would to blame neither Fancy Gadam nor Maccasio, neither would we blame the organizers of operation suhudoo, we only hope the necessary lessons learnt from this event will be taken into consideration and such will not happen again. Those who are fueling this tension between these two gentlemen will surely be disappointed for they both are sons of the dagbon land and they will find the way back to each others arms.
