Tuba Zaks in 60 seconds

Born Basit Zakaria, from the Zak Villa family in Zogbeli, popularly known as Zolahood. Basit schooled at Zogbeli primary, Bagabaga and moved to Ridge Junior High, then to Northern School of Business. 







The Accra based versatile artiste told Sanatu Zambang he has had admission to New York Film Academy. And to set the record straight, Tuba Zaks is signed under the record label of Vision Music Group ‘’ VMG’’ and the Ceo of Vision Music Group is Zeal of VVIP.

Basit known by his stage name is Tuba Zaks, formally known as Tuba Dadomba, today spoke to Sanatu Zambang. And in 60 seconds, Sanatu Zambang will highlight the works of Tuba Zaks and his music career.

Speaking to Sanatu Zambang, Tuba Zaks said
‘’  I grew up listening to likes of Michael Jackson from  childhood in my dad’s cinema ‘’ this might be a total shock to many but for music fanatics, every musician from 1960 to date can’t resist the late King of pop music and dance moves.

Tuba Zaks told Sanatu Zambang he was very good in music since childhood and he influenced himself to join the music industry because he had endless passion for music. The versatile musician began music in 1995 and has 6 albums to his credit.







In recent months the debate on which northern artiste has featured a southern artiste isn’t new to star boy Tuba Zaks. Tuba Zaks has feautred the likes of Sarkodie, Mugees, Blakk Rasta, Edem, Samini, Vvip . Tuba Zaks has also featured Sharifa Gunu, Dflex, and Dakoli.


When asked which Northern, Southern and African artiste inspires him; Tuba Zaks listed Sirina Issah, Sherif Ghale, Obrafour, Nana King VIP, Reggie Rackstone, Zeal, Yvonne Chaka chaka.  Tuba Zaks told Sanatu Zambang he looks forward in working with Samini, Sarkodie, and Mugees again.
