Dboy ''Rap Sapashin'' Grabs 5 Nominations at 2016 Splash Awards Ukraine

Ukraine has released the official nominees for its 2016 Awards, and not
surprisingly Abdul Razak Baki Abukari, known by his stage name DBOY, has bagged 5 Nominations.
The Ghanaian based Ukraine rapper has received
3 nominations, thus Artist of the year, Promising Artist of the year and Video
of the year, and 2 nominations for the calicoz group, thus Song Of the year and
Collaboration of the year Calicoz.

Awards Ukraine is an annual award event which is a means of recognizing and
awarding outstanding personalities in the areas of music, entertainment,
business, and socials. This year the committees of Splash Awards Ukraine has
decided to allow both residents and non-residents living in Ukraine; to choose
a list of nominees from their different cities of whom they feel fits best into
each award category.
Few days ago, Sarkcess Music released a new hip-hop rap cypher from Sarkodie which features Teephlow, Medikal, Donzy, Strongman, Koo Ntakra and Pappy Kojo, titled TRUMPET. TRUMPET got the whole nation up and talking, music lovers kept the track on repeat for hours; Djs just couldn’t stop talking about Sarkodie’s Trumpet.
Just when everyone had enough of Trumpet, Dboy shared a video of him in
studios; his version of Sark’s Trumpet, Dboy version was a killer, his flow in the dagbani dialect and English amazingly awesome. The Ghanaian based Ukraine rapper got the whole facebook
users mouth and eyes wide open.
Speaking to Sanatu Zambang, the Ghanaian
based Ukraine rapper said he attended Jisonayili primary, then to Kamina, and now
studying in Europe (Tertiary). DBOY also known as ‘’ THE RAP SAPASHIN ‘’ hasn’t
released an album yet but has to his credit countless singles of which most
unreleased. The Northern Region capital has in the past few months been the hub of musical shows and new acts emerging. 2016 has seen massive show and concerts attendance in the region as well. one might ask again who is the best rapper from northern Ghana, well that is another question seeking answer's.
