One can’t best tell what destiny holds for each of us, but as the days goes by, we discover who we are and what are can do and flamez is no exception. 2016 has seen a power wave in the Northern Music Industry, from shows to concert, album launch to peace concerts and this tells how music producers in the regions are up to their game. Imoro Abdul Basit born in the Northern Regional capital on 9th June, began his early education at Kanvilli presby experimental school, his success in academic work landed him at the Ghana senior high school in Tamale, he then moved to the Nursing training college in 2011 Flamez is one of the youngest music producer in the region and he is clearly up to his game, one can determine success of a producer by spotting the musicians that have not only recorded in his studios but how far the music he has produced has crossed boundaries.
The Spirit of a Child delves into the story of Mama Laadi and her closely knit family of orphans in the Upper East of Ghana. Many of the children are stigmatized as spirit children or witches. A Spirit child is a (ritualistic) term to label a child whose mother died due to birth complications. The child is therefore blamed for the medical catastrophe and as a result the child is killed with a concoction or poison from a village priest. A child may also be labeled as a witch, this happens to be the case when a certain phenomenon occurs in the household or village and the child has no one to protect them.
Flamez produced Nazz MoneyO and has also worked with amazing artistes such as Nuru, Scottish Prince, Nachimba, Double Tee, George cliff, Fawal, choggu Boyz, One9ra and many others. In A moment by Nuru was produced by flamez and has received a nomination in this year’s AFRIMA awards. This is indeed a producer musicians should book recording sessions with.
