Assuming your wife can't conceive, can you go in for another woman who can. And finally is there a difference in having your own children and adopting.
(Romeo shares his Christian knowledge) husband should be self-sacrificing: Well, The Bible tells husbands to love their wives in a very special way, “Husbands, luv your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up of her…" (Ephesians 5:25 ESV). Husbands are not to expect their wives to be slaves.. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church" (Ephesians 5:28-29, 33a ESV). The husband should provide for his wife: There may be circumstances in which the husband is unable to provide for his wife and family, but as a general principle, the husband should provide for his wife, “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8 ESV). The husband should not carry out this duty grudgingly, but out of love for his wife and family…and out of gratefulness to God. The husband should be kind to his wife: There is no excuse for a husband to be hurtful to his wife, “Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them" (Colossians 3:19). 1 Peter 3:7). Our marriage relationship has a great affect on our whole life In conclusion, a Christian husband should love his wife with the love of Jesus Christ; his marriage relationship should be the most important relationship he has, except for his relationship with Jesus. (Proverbs 31:10 ESV). A Christ can't Marry more than one wife: God is the one who brought marriage into the world. He made the first man, Adam (Genesis 1:26). He saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone. He then made a “wife” for Adam. Notice God did not make “wives” for Adam. If He had wanted Adam to have more than one wife, He would have made him more than one. One was enough. God knows best.Polygamy is a “man-made” idea. It is NOT in agreement with God’s plan for marriage. Anything that does not agree with what God has done or said is sin. God’s plan is one man and woman (wife) for life (Genesis 2). I feel bad reading comments from some men that said they will marry another woman to give them children. I advise childless couples to adopt children. Love and take good care of them and you shall never regret your decision in adopting them. They will adore you and take care of you.
(Mur Phid Share his Islamic Knowledge) The duty of a man to his wife is to provide her with sustenance that is take care of her. Something that may prompt a man to bring in a second wife is impotence, Riches, and the person she is bringing as a second wife, who she is ? A man can take care of both wife or more but not all men can do that. There are a lot of benefits for marrying more than one wife.. First of all statistics shows that there are more women than men in the world. That is every man needs to marry four wives for every woman to have a husband according to statistics. Also we have young women that are widows and orphans that needs to be taken care of and move on with life. How can they be helped? Marry them. You might not necessary be attach to her like your first wife. But she is respected for having a husband than leaving and society calling them witch and others. Interesting. First of all, people that say God created man and a woman and not women so no polygamy. I ask them then if God created a donkey and a horse and u are riding in a car or an airplane is that a sin ?? Secondly, if prophet Abraham,Moses,Jesus, king Solomon etc (PBUT) did not condemn Polygamy and some of them practice it and today you are saying it is wrong or sin that means you are saying all of them Forget to condemn or preach against it. In others words they failed their mission to deliver that or you are going against them.if you are going against them then u are on one side with Satan and I fear for u people. I have check Ephesians 5:22-33. And I have not seen where it says no remarriage. I have not also seen where it says when u take another wife it means u don't love da first one or u hate her. Why don't u also check Genesis 16:1-4. I have taken my time to check 28 downwards. And it says. "So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church.... Please where does it says u hate ur wife when u take another or u cannot marry another wife. The cotation u are givin doesn't fit into this matter.
Tamanda Shares her Christian Faith Perspective) Duties of a man to his wife: I usually refer that to Ephesians Chapter 5 where husbands are ordered to love their wives just as Christ loved the church. This Chapter clearly explains what the husband's role is. Provider and a protector, caring for her the way he cares for his own body. And not just body, the care and protection goes all the way to caring for her emotions, her mental state of being and being a oilier for her Depending on one's beliefs I find it very controversial to question whether Christians can marry more that one wife. Respecting all Christian dominations and beliefs, I believe the critical factor is to understand how God made marriage to be. Between Man and Wife, NOT Man and Wives. If a wife cannot conceive, it is up to the couple to decide. Others get a surrogate or through latest technology, find other means of having a child. In such a situation, I have seen the best answer to be how bonded the couple is...because as we know it, through prayer and patience, such couples have gone on childless and eventually conceived. Again, this is strongly centred on your belief and faith. I do not have a child of my own yet.lol. But I do believe there is a difference having your own child and one adopted. This does not mean that there can be a difference in the type of love you can give to a biological child and an adopted child. This is one of the joys of parenthood I guess and the other great wonder of what love is. Both can be loved...exactly th same way and to the same degree.
(Samiha Yunus shares her Islamic knowledge) He is supposed to be a friend , Take care of her needs. Being very responsible for the houses and other things. Be her teacher and the guider in Islamic knowledge if she has less Islamic knowledge. A man who will not commit adultery will rather marry another for the sake of fear of Allah. And sometimes the attitude of lady can push a man to marry again. family pressure of the man's family..wanting him to marry again. Taking care of both women equally, I don't think so, Because In this generation just a few men can take care of both women equally
