After organizing a successful fashion show,making him and Dadzie Aikins the first persons to organize a fashion show in the Tamale metropolis. we all remember Savannah Lifestlye Fashion show at Tacorabama  For months, the tamale metropolis has seen tremendous and significant increase in the love for entertainment. it has been a music and musical artiste making waves in the region and across the region, now the fashion aspect of the region seem to be on the move, and one example is WEAR NATION CLOTHING. So we had to sit down with wear nation founder and find out the how, the why, and the what. 




Born in Ejura in the Ashanti Region, Nana Kyei Abankwah, baby Nana Kyei and his parents moved to Northern Region capital Tamale. Little Nana Kyei started schooling at St Joseph school, Dohanayili then later moved to Pentecostal Academy.
Nana Kyei Abankwah, studied general science at Seven Great Princes Academy in Accra.  He continued to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology and graduated with BSc. Geological engineering in 2013. Nana Kyei Currently studying business management at ICM - UK (Institute for Commercial management) January 2105, Wear Nation came into existence. Nana Kyei told Sanatu Zambang,





‘’ I fell in love with African fabrics somewhere 2009. In the beginning I used to design for myself and colleagues at school. It wasn't really a business.
After university in 2013, I partnered a friend who produces fashion accessories to start AO Creations creations but we couldn't sustain it.



Around that time another friend started a similar business, Native Fabric clothing so I agreed to partner with him until December 2014 when we decided to part ways’’.




Nana Kyei started realizing his entrepreneurial skills and decided to continue that path rather than joining the "unemployed graduates association". So with his natural creativity in designing and Entrepreneurship, Nana Kyei founded Wear Nation clothing.









‘’ Wear Nation as its name goes has a global goal. Every nation should wear our products. We are humbly starting from our home base in Tamale, gradually growing into a global brand. Our goal is to be one of the biggest clothing brands in the world. ‘’ Nana Kyei said 


‘’ Short term goals, by the end Nana Kyei of 2017, we are targeting retail shops in the 3 northern regions. Tamale, Wa and Bolga. It's not going to be easy but with God and hard work, I believe we can get there ‘’ Nana Kyei added
