Wear Nation and The Wear Nation Foundation

The young founder and CEO of Wear Nation, starting donating since December 2013, with a couple of friends, they had their first donation at the Tamale children's home. Sanatu Zambang asked Nana Kyie what prompted him to donate, he replied ‘’ what prompted it, I've no idea. Probably God blessed me with a kind heart ‘’

After a successful launch of The Wear Nation Foundation, last Saturday, Sanatu Zambang spoke to Nana Kyei, the brain behind Wear Nation and the Wear Nation Foundation.

According to Nana Kyei, the Wear Nation Foundation is dedicated to providing clothes for the less privileged.
‘’ The funding will come from the sales we make.  Some percentage of the proceeds will go into the foundation. From now till 2017, we will keep on making donations ‘’

Wear Nation on 5th November launched their Wear Nation Foundation and made a trip to Yung-duuni community to donate cloths and soft drinks to the children. With the little sales his clothing line has made, he deem it necessary to give back to society, definitely these are the kind of role models one needs in a country. Some models of Wear Nation, Friends, and Family joined to support this brave and kind initiative.

Wear Nation took its turn to journey with the popular Chauffeur buses of M&Mxpress. The main event took place at the community church, were Abdul Raafi Mohammed-fishbone engaged the children of Yung-duuni in a playful learning experience, later the community children also engaged the visitors in a gospel singing and dancing moment.

Soft drinks were shared among the children and the elderly, the visitors also play the question and answer, whereby the children were asked to answer tricky but simple questions, those whose got the questions right were given extra drinks.

Wear Nation as its name goes has a global goal. Every nation should wear our products. We are humbly starting from our home base in Tamale, gradually growing into a global brand. Our goal is to be one of the biggest clothing brands in the world

The Wear Nation Foundation next project will be before Xmas.  "BRONYA ATAADI" community, is where they will provide some kids clothes for Christmas.

When asked about the low sales they make and yet will to give back to society,

Nana Kyei told Sanatu Zambang ‘’ It's not about how much you make. Regardless, I still make something but there are people somewhere who don't make anything at all ‘’
