Wear Nation Donates to Yung-duuni

Fashion is one of the largest industries worldwide; it is deeply rooted in culture everywhere and something we encounter on the daily. Fashion in Northern Ghana is no doubt growing faster than expected. Both young and old demand in fine cloths, mostly designer wears has increased tremendously, creating lots of competition, which turn to sort out the best out of the best.

After organizing a successful Savannah Lifestyle Fashion show at Tacorabama, wear nation was founded by Nana Kyei Abankwah, popularly known as Nana Kyei. Nana Kyei  studied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology and graduated with BSc. Geological engineering in 2013, Currently studying business management at ICM - UK (Institute for Commercial management)

Last Saturday, Wear Nation launched its foundation ‘’ Wear Nation Foundation’’. The Wear Nation Foundation donated clothes to children at Yung-duuni, Tamale. With the little sales his clothing line has made, he deem it necessary to give back to society, definately these are the kind of role models one needs in a country. Some models of Wear Nation, Friends, and Family joined to support this brave and kind initiative.

Speaking to Sanatu Zambang, Wear Nation boss Nana Kyei said ‘’ Now with every Wear Nation purchase, you are helping us provide clothes for the less privileged’’.

Thanks to the latest, safe and effective Chauffeur driven buses of M&Mxpress, the likes of Maccarthy Mac-Gbathy of Hopin Academy, Nutritionist Blessilla Nana-afoe Aya Kandoh, Martha Anabila, founder of Martha Foundation, Dadzie Aikins, Miss-Aweya Ida, Ibn Arimi, Gabriel Kwasi Selasie, Zin Fk, Abubakar Abdul-kadir, Dela Bona Mensah, Adams Techie and Abdul Raafi Mohammed-fishbone came out to support Nana Kyie and the Wear Nation vision.

The models whom also dedicated their time to embark on this charity trip were, Cømført Kuuläbiø, Haj Tunty Mahama, Sherifa Awudu, and Aaleeyah Ahlim. Well known as the Tamale Celebrities, the team first paid a courtesy call on the chief of Yung-duuni, it was all joy and laugher at the chief place.

The main event took place at the community church, were Abdul Raafi Mohammed-fishbone engaged the children of Yung-duuni in a playful learning experience, later the community children also engaged the visitors in a gospel singing and dancing moment.
Soft drinks were shared among the children and the elderly, the visitors also play the question and answer, whereby the children were asked to answer tricky but simple questions, those whose got the questions right were given extra drinks. 

The praises, singing and dancing continue for a few minutes and ended with a photography session with the children. The children left the venue with not only cloths, and drinks but with smiles on their faces and little learning exercise





Wear Nation as its name goes has a global goal. Every nation should wear our products. We are humbly starting from our home base in Tamale, gradually growing into a global brand. Our goal is to be one of the biggest clothing brands in the world
