Gadam Nation Invasion at the National Theatre

The Northern regional capital has been buzzing with the emergence of musical heavyweights; individual artistes are pushing boundaries to conquer the contemporary musical scene of Ghana. One such fine artiste is Fancy Gadam.



Combining impeccable dance moves, upbeat dance music and a pentatonic tone, Fancy Gadam who has endeared himself into the hearts of music lovers and set enviable records is finally ready to prove to Accra that his worth is not just limited to Dagbon and Tamale.

On the 6th of November, Fancy Gadam and an army of musicians will turn all directional signs towards the National Theatre of Ghana - for a one of  a kind musical show that is expected to send tongues wagging for long time. The success of this event will not be on the back of big acts in Accra but the impressive performances of acts like SKY the Tamale Boy, One 9ra, Ataaka, Jamal Bamba, Dabba, Abada, Iwan, Gidor, Saani and the Champion boy himself Fancy Gadam.

According to SavannahOnline '' they believe this is by far the most daring move from a relatively young artiste like Fancy Gadam. However if we consider the feat that culminated into a streak of successful musical concerts in Tamale, we wont be surprised if the venue turns out to be too small for this event. This is on the back of the fact that he has a massive following in most of the Zongo’s in Accra, as well as in communities predominantly inhabited by people from the savanna regions of Ghana.

Just so you have an idea the feats achieved by this young man who was once aspiring to be the winner of the Malta Guinness Street Dance Championship; Fancy Gadam wowed entertainment critics by pulling over 12,000 fans to his album launch in Tamale. Yes you read right, he recorded 12,000 ticket sales at the Tamale Sports stadium.  

At the same event, he went further to sell 3000 pieces of customized apparel. As if that wasn’t enough to keep the media talking, he partnered with Stonebwoy to stage another show that saw virtually the entire Tamale fill up the Tamale Sports Stadium. On the heels of that massive show, when Odo Latti and his crew decided to fly in Davido for a musical concert, one of the first artiste to bring onboard was the champion boy himself Fancy Gadam '' .

Having performed at Adabraka and twice in Ashiaman, Fancy Gadam must have done all his homework well enough to pull this really daring and ambitious musical show together.
