Samata is a British author, journalist, and fashion designer currently based in London, England. Samata book deal with Bloomsbury, titled The Fashion Designer's Resource Book was released in July 2013. 
Samata was announced as the winner of Suzy Amis Cameron's Red Carpet Green Dress contest; she is now the Campaign Director for design initiative Red Carpet Green Dress.

Samata has been diving deep into the world of sustainable fashion, and she seem to have found gold in mud. Samata sustainable fashion campaign has received tremendous thumbs up from not only those in the fashion world but the world at large.

In many ways I can still reconnect with that feeling of excitement, ambition and hope, after all the fashion industry is one of the most fascinating and exciting place to work.
