The December 7th election is drawing closer and
closer, Latif Abubakar has found a way to release stress and anxiety from the
Ghanaian, especially lovers of arts and culture.
Latif Abubakar this time again has gotten the perfect characters for the perfect stage play. This latest play of Latif Abubakar, titled ‘’ I Can’t Think Far ’’, has been making the rounds and this Sunday, November 20 it will move to the Radach Hotel in Tamale.

In I Can’t Think Far, Adjetey Annang
plays the role of Charles Barima, a politician who has a very bad temper that
he doesn’t seem to get along with anybody. Then there is another politician,
John Stevens played by Ecow Smith-Asante who is more tolerant but cheats on his
wife.
Adjetey Anang is Ghana’s most
classic, witty, and most bankable stars in the history of cinema and theater
according to Sanatu Zambang. Popularly known as "Pusher", which was
his screen name in the television series ‘’Things We Do for Love ‘’, while Ecow
Smith Asante is also Ghana’s most versatile actor. Ecow Smith is super spectacular
and amazing when he mounts the theater stage. Ecow Smith has always been
admired by the middle aged with his character adaptation of Ghana’s first
president Dr Kwame Nkrumah in his recent stage and television drama’s.
With such characters in lead roles, certainly
Latif Abubakar can’t fail to feed patrons with this exciting and captivating hilarious drama . In this
remarkable and hilarious drama, Charles Barima ‘’ Adjetey Anang ‘’ and John Stevens ‘’
Ecow Smith Asante ‘’ lock horns
at a long awaited presidential debate which both politicians are looking
forward to.
They both present their manifestos and are asked to sing a
patriotic song. While John sings Yen Ara Asaase Ni, Charles settles for a war
song. Charles is so angry at the end of the debate that he refuses to shake
hands with his opponent.
At the end of the day, John wins the
elections and Charles surprisingly makes an appearance at his victory party. In
fact, it is at this same party that Charles reconciles with his wife.
Latif Abubakar ‘’I Can’t Think Far’’ play is brought to you
