North Television Celebrates 1year Anniversary at OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant

Northern Region based Television station North Television celebrated its one year anniversary at OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant in Tamale. 

 OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant is a 5 star rated Lounge Bar and Restaurant located on the Tamale Bolga road. 
North Television since its inception last year has hosted and showcased many stars in Ghana notably; Wiyaala, David Dontor, Fancy, Maccasio, Sharifa Gunu, Ayisoba, and many others.

The Station, over the past one year, has evolved to become a strong brand for promoting Northern culture and heritage, celebrating achievers in Northern Ghana and also discussing very relevant social issues that affect millions in the Northern regions and around the country.




The anniversary celebration was held at OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant on Tuesday 15th November 2016  and saw the presence of Dr Charles Abugri CEO SADA, PRO VRA Prince Mashood,  General Manager of NTV ABDUL RASHID ABDUL RAHMAN. The staff of Ntv also graced the occasion, the likes of Alalbila, Enoch, KARIMA, Robicon Alexande Ernest Frimpong Adjei Hamza, Alfred Boateng Programs manager at Ntv and Rabiu Alhassan technical head of Ntv.


Some selected invited guest who also honored the invitation were Kola Nut OF Swag Volunteers, Public Nutritionist Blessila, Director of Hopin Academy Maccarthy, Founder of Samakose Amin, CEO of Buta Photography, and Abdul Raafi Mohammed Fishbone.




The station has also received positive views from chiefs in the three Northern regions, sighting North Television has a beacon of hope and development. The station has aired varied programs and shows since it began transmission. 





Some of the most popular shows aired on the station are THE DAGBON NABEIGU COMPETITION, NORTH ARTS, NORTHERN HITZ, FANZONE, and many others.


CEO of Ntv, Mr Prince Siita Sofo praised the staff for their tireless dedication to the station and promised to ensure that all necessary arrangements to boast and lift the name of the station was in progress.  Dr Charles Abugri tasked  Mr Siita and the NTV staff to continue the good work and that SADA is part of the vision of NTV.






Few days ago, Chief of Sagnarigu pay a courtesy call on the station, at its new studio located in Sagnarigu. The chief urge staff to use the station to project and promote the Northern Regions.

The Chief of Sagnarigu also endorsed Mr Prince Siita Sofo book ‘’ Those Who Want TO be Rich. 






The book which was launched at the Tamale Catholic Guest House on 29th October 2016, and reviewed by Prof. John B.K. Aheto. Prof  John B.K. Aheto  alongside Prof. Abdulai Salifu Asuro, Rector of Tamale Technical University were present at the launched of the book. 
Everyday North Televison has increasingly grow to become one of the most cherished TV station in the Northern Regions and the world at large, over the past year and it is expected to even get bigger and better as the years go by.


OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant  as usual gave the best service expected of them. the celebration was spiced by the excellent customer service of OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant. Chilled drinks and popular demanded Ghana jollof and plain rice with chopped beef stew and chicken was the dished served. Hats off to the chef and the OASIS Lounge Bar and Restaurant team for all the plates were found empty after the dinner.
