Rocky Dawuni and Wiyaala to Thrill Audience in Los Angeles

This September Legends of Africa event in Los Angeles will see Rocky Dawuni and Wiyaala thrilling music lovers in a spectacular way, those who have seen their musical performances will be expecting electric energy from the award winning Ghanaian artists. August 6th at the Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles in MacArthur Park. The “Branches of the Same Tree ” singer Rocky Dawuni,  thrilled huge audiences across Spain, Belgium, Germany, Latvia, Czech Republic as well as a performance at the legendary Bangalore Place in India with GRAMMY winning musician / composer Ricky Kej and very special guests.

25th August 2016, saw Wiyaala starring alongside  Michael Grimm [Drums], Mathias Grimm [Bass], Johny Amoako [Keys], Tom Gatzer [Guitar], Noella Wiyaala [Vocals] at the JAZZ N SOUL STEW night at The Mojo Club is a music club in Hamburg, Germany located on the city’s famous Reeperbahn. Wiyaala also performed at the Afrika Festival in Hamburg last week. Wiyaala will appear at the launch of the Ghana Music Week in London as well…

KANDABANYE (Had I Known) is the new music video Noella Wiyaala is set to release, the song is about a man who breaks a woman's heart, as the woman plans on seeking revenge. Wiyaala and her management are currently on location filming the video. The songstress posted some videos and pictures on social media of her and other cast members.

Rocky Dawuni and his all star band was also  joined by famed DJ Drez who has performed with Rocky off and on for many years and now is one of the top DJs in the wellness and yoga communities The GRAMMY nominated Afro Roots star, Rocky Dawuni. RockyDawuni  also  joins Ricky Kej for the brand new video for "ONE SONG" from the World Music album "Shanti Samsara, the  Song for Environmental Consciousness” with special guests including  Wouter Kellerman , Darlene Koldenhoven & many more amazing musicians.  Location for the filming of the video was in Bangalore India

Rocky Dawuni will also perform at the  18th Annual World Music Festival Chicago Announces Full Lineup Featuring Diverse International Musicians schedule for this September 9–25. a variety of venues across the city. Celebrating the diverse music from nations across the globe, this FREE festival is produced by the Chicago 





Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and is the largest festival of its kind in the United States. Highlights of the 2016 festival include the all night Ragamala: A Celebration of Indian Classical Music, a weekend collaboration with Chicago SummerDance in Grant Park, a concert in Millennium Park and the The 606 Walk + Peace Picnic.

The 606 Walk + Peace Picnic is a day of family-friendly activities including instrument making, peace procession, music and more. The Global Peace Picnic from 2 to 6pm at the Humboldt Park Boathouse (1301 N. Sacramento Ave.) features concerts by Rocky Dawuni, Herencia de Timbiquí, and Rajab Suleiman & Kithara.
